Seven Leaders Elected for 2 Year Terms

The Orange County Republican Executive Committee (OCREC) held their leadership elections on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Seven positions as defined in the OCREC Constitution were open for election. Each of these positions is for a two-year term. The officers in order of election:

Chairman - Erin Huntley

Vice Chairman - Wendy Nissan

Secretary - Kevin Kelly

Treasurer - Wade Bailey

Executive Director - John Ashton

Assistant Secretary - Tracy Main

Assistant Treasurer - Brian Henley

These new leaders join Debbie Galvin (State Committeewoman) and Rich Crotty (State Committeeman) on the County Executive Board of the Orange County Republican Executive Committee.

State Committeewomen and State Committeemen are elected to four-years terms on the Primary Election Day in a Presidential Election Year. Debbie & Rich were elected in a county-wide ballot of Republican voters in 2020.

Republican Executive Committees (RECs) who chose to can modify their County Constitution to define their leadership teams. In the Case of Orange County, the positions of Executive Director, Assistant Secretary, and Assistant Treasurer were approved at the December 2020 meeting by a 2/3rds vote of the entire membership.
